Frequently Asked Questions
β What age children do you care for?
We welcome children from 6 weeks old up to 5 years (school age). Each nursery has dedicated rooms for different age groups with age-appropriate activities and qualified staff ratios.
π What are your opening hours?
All our nurseries are open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 51 weeks of the year (closed for one week at Christmas and bank holidays).
π Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes! We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks all prepared fresh on-site. We cater for all dietary requirements including allergies, cultural preferences, and special diets. Meal costs are included in our fees.
π§· What should I bring for my child?
Just a change of clothes in a named bag, any comfort items (teddy, blanket), and sun cream/hat for outdoor play. We provide nappies, wipes, bedding, and all learning resources.
π©βπ« How do you support children's development?
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum with play-based learning. Each child has a key person who tracks their development, plans activities, and maintains close communication with parents through daily contact sheets and regular reviews.
π₯ What happens if my child becomes unwell?
We follow strict health and safety policies. If your child becomes unwell, we'll contact you immediately. Children must be 48 hours clear of sickness/diarrhoea before returning. All staff are pediatric first aid trained.
π Do you offer transport or trips?
We organize regular local walks and occasional trips for older children (with full risk assessments and parent consent). We don't provide transport to/from nursery - all children must be dropped off and collected by a parent/authorized person.
